How to Have a Successful Virtual Event

The Answer: Invest in Effective Video!

The Law Foundation of Silicon Valley knows firsthand the impact video has on a successful virtual event.

After working with us in the spring for their first ever virtual event, they knew they needed video for their second event. Video was the element that engaged and retained their attendees, and motivated them to login from home. But not just any video - ones that resonated emotionally with the viewer.

In total, they requested three videos: Opening and closing videos that would be short, warm ways of thanking the viewer, and a showcase video that would provide a compelling look at the efforts of the Law Foundation over the past year, especially during COVID.

The result? We’ll let Development Director for the Law Foundation, Kate Levin, answer that question:

“I have now worked with Owl Eye to prepare six separate videos for two virtual events. Each time they have taken our half-baked ideas and run with them to create something beautiful and inspiring. Video content is always important to the success of an event, particularly in fundraising, and that's even more true in the current climate where we have to go to great lengths to convey emotion and tell stories to an audience that is fully remote.”

Whether your virtual event is for fundraising or to launch a product, video is proven to be the most effective, low-cost, low-touch way to speak with your customers. And Owl Eye is ready to strategize with you about what your video can accomplish for your virtual event.

Stay safe, stay sane and stay healthy.
